Le Printemps,1868-1873
I got a chance to attend this special exhibition when I was in Taipei . The exhibition is hold in the National Museum of History. I waited for a long time to get into the place because there was a long line-up. However, I still waited patiently because I know it is a good chance to visit all those amazing masterpieces.
I think the exhibition place was too small and there were too many people inside the museum. It was so crowded and it is hard to see all the masterpieces. I did see the most well-know masterpieces of Millet, la Gleaners and l’Angélus ; however, I personally like le Printemps the most. I did some research while I was writing this diary; I found out that there were 65 masterpieces in total in this exhibition. I was amazed by this data because I thought I just saw approximate 20 drawings when I was there. It was probably too many people out there and I was unable to exam every drawings. I was attracted by le printemps when I saw that drawing from a distance, but I couldn’t get through the crowed to see it. I just saw that drawing for few minutes before I left. After all, it was still a good experience to visit this exhibition, because the real drawing is really better than the printing products or all those duplicate products. I did bought a set of postcards before I left. Thanks to my aunt who sponsored me for those souvenirs.
